In their design and technology lessons, Year 2 learners have been exploring structures and thinking how to make them stronger, stiffer and more stable. Intrigued by watching a video about stronger structures, they worked in small groups to make a stool that could support their weight out of drinks cans. They were all able to explain that including triangles into their model would make it more stable.
