As part of our "scented garden" topic Year 2 have been exploring their sense of smell. We investigated different pots containing different scents and had to guess what they were. We then discussed the memories they remind us of. We have also been busy with Mrs Brock creating still life artwork and making our own potpourri from fresh roses, herbs, citrus fruits and essential oils - the classroom smells lovely with all these beautiful scents in the air!
