Year 1 in Astronaut Training

In Year 1 we have been learning about Neil Armstrong being the first man on the moon.  We used role-play to help us remember some of the key facts.  First we went to astronaut school to learn some skills we might need for a visit to the moon.  We then boarded Apollo 11 and set off for our mission.  We enjoyed wearing our astronaut helmets and exploring the moon.
In computing we have been using our mouse skills to create pictures.  We used the toolbar to select the colours and size of brush we needed for painting a rocket.
