Our curriculum is ambitious and has been designed to give pupils, the knowledge they need to take advantage of opportunities, responsibilities and experiences in later life.

We have taken time to plan and sequence each subject so pupils develop the knowledge and skills they needed, building on what has been taught before.

Our curriculum enables pupils to learn the knowledge that they need to answer subject-specific questions and to gain disciplinary knowledge of how the subject works.

Through careful assessment and skilful teaching, we take account of delays and gaps in learning that have arisen and continue to arise as a result of the pandemic and work to ensure children keep up with our high expectations.

The curriculum is broad and balanced and every pupil is expected to access every subject, including Forest Schools.
