Contract type: Permanent
Working pattern: Full time
Advert start date: 12th March 2025

Monksmoor Park CE Primary School is renowned for its exceptional support for children with additional needs. Our inclusive and welcoming community celebrates diversity and is dedicated to nurturing every child's potential. We take pride in our outstanding team of highly skilled professionals who work collaboratively to support the children in our care, some of whom have complex needs.
We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and compassionate primary class teacher – preferably KS2 - to join our wonderful team. The ideal candidate will have a "can-do" attitude, a great sense of humour, and a strong commitment to teamwork. If you are passionate about making a difference and share our Christian ethos, we would love to hear from you!
Our school was purpose-built in 2018, and we are fortunate to have excellent facilities and resources. Whilst experience of working in KS2 would be an advantage, we are keen to find the right person to fulfil the school vision of ‘Nurturing all to flourish and aspire’ so will consider newly qualified applicants as well as those from across the Primary phase.
Our vision applies as much to the staff as to the children. You will be joining a school where every voice is valued, and we work as part of a very close team. We will work with you to ensure you have what you need to help our children to be the best they can be.
Forest School plays an important part in our curriculum and every class has regular sessions led by a qualified Forest School Leader. An interest in outdoor learning would be a distinct advantage, as would knowledge and experience of working with children with SEND.
Working in a brand new school comes with challenges; everything is a first and we only have a small team to do all the jobs but it is also hugely rewarding. We have a unique opportunity to build and shape a school, not only physically, but also the curriculum and ethos. Come and be part of something very special!
Come and Meet Us! We warmly invite you to visit our school and experience our nurturing and inclusive community first-hand. Join us for a visit where you can meet our wonderful team, tour our school, and learn more about how we support our pupils. Please contact us to arrange a visit—we can't wait to meet you.
How to Apply: For more information please check out our school website where the job description, person specification and application form can be found. Forms should be returned to Mrs Janet DeBoo: jdeboo@monksmoorceprimary.co.uk
We look forward to welcoming a new member to our dedicated team!
Monksmoor Park CE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
References will be sought for all short-listed candidates and the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and complete a medical questionnaire. Online searches form part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
