This week Woodpeckers have continued to explore the structure of our Model poem.  We have seen how the author has carefully crafted the poem to use metaphors symbolising movement and the arts and crafts along with rhyme and near rhyme. 

In maths we have completed our unit on area and now move on to hone our multiplication and division skills.  In topic we have started looking at how water moves around the planet in a continuous cycle through evaporation, condensation and precipitation.  To secure our understanding of these terms we also played a fun board game, answering questions based on our learning to be the first to complete the cycle.
