Our alien friend has responded to our message!  They visited us to collect the alien baby that we have been looking after.  They then took off in their spaceship to return to their planet.  It was extremely exciting and it inspired some articulate conversation and a variety of adjectives to describe how the alien looked and behaved.

The children discussed the colour of the alien and their markings.  Then Mrs Williams showed us a clip from the Forest School cameras which showed a spaceship collecting the alien parent and baby to take them home to their planet.

The children discussed and disagreed whether might have been an mummy or a daddy that came to collect the baby alien.  Whichever it was, Year 1 could agree on one thing, there must be trainer shops on the planet the alien comes from!
