In English this week Woodpeckers have been working hard to complete their Independent Writes – Narratives that include some form of an adventure. 

We have continued to develop our understanding of fractions in maths, and have seen how we can add and subtract proper fractions and mixed numbers.

Our topic lessons have seen us gain a better understanding of the ancient Egyptian societies, and we found out how Howard Carter analysed artefacts from Tutankhamun’s tomb to draw conclusions about his life.  In PE, we have started to develop our understanding of the face paced game of Handball.
