In Year 1 we have been enjoying our art unit on ‘Funny Faces’, where we have been looking at portraits.  We have used mirrors to look at our faces and then used sketching pencils to draw our faces in detail.  We have also been looking at abstract portraits and created faces using objects from around the room.
 This week we used fabric to create a face and used sewing, staples and glue to fasten on the items.
