Year 3 - Sharing Success
Before Christmas we enjoyed some of our class playing the instruments they learn! They all played beautifully, and it was nice to have them share their talents. This week one of our class was awarded her martial art black belt and showed us some of her amazing moves at the start of our PE lesson.
We have started the term off focussing on OAA (outdoor adventurous activities) in our PE lessons. We will develop problem-solving skills through a range of challenges working independently, as a pair or in small groups to plan, explore, solve, reflect and improve on strategies. Our aim is to learn what makes a good team and explore key skills such as inclusion and trust. We will also learn how to orientate a map, identify key symbols and draw and follow routes. This lesson we were given machines to create together in teams like a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner, a toaster and a TV!
