Dear Parents and Carers

I am very excited to inform you that on Friday 10th March we have local children’s author, Debbie Burt, visiting school for the afternoon. Debbie has written a small series of books based upon her camper van “Daisy” aimed at readers age 5-8.

She will speak with all children from Nursery to Year 4 sharing some of her published books and talking to the children about becoming an author, including some of the challenges she has faced along the way! We hope this will inspire children across the school with their own reading and writing.

At the end of the school day Debbie’s books will be available to purchase for those who wish to do so.
