British Science Week got under way in Reception and Nursery on Monday as everyone joined together to watch Mr Margieson make a homemade lava lamp using water, cooking oil and some Alka Seltzer tablets. The white coat and goggles will be donned for more experiments as the week goes on!

The children in Nursery were fascinated as they took part in making their own homemade lava lamps as part of our activities for British Science Week. We are spending the week in Nursery looking at what happens when you mix, join and combine things together to make something new.
