Squirrels started this week with a wonderful visit to Daventry Methodist Church as we were invited to join their Easter Interactive event.  We were guided in groups around a re-enactment of the Easter Story.  

We joined the crowd welcoming Jesus to Jerusalem, watched as Jesus acted as a servant washing Peter's feet, and shared in the last supper with Jesus before he was crucified.  We finished seeing the joy of the women who discovered Jesus had arisen and celebrated with a song and dance together.  The children gained so much from the visit and were able to link their learning from the classroom this term with ease.

We had some very positive feedback from the church representatives who said our children were respectful, responsive and polite!  We are so proud of the children and they really represented the best of Monksmoor Park.  Well done!
