Year 1 enjoyed their trip to the Holy Cross Church last week. Rev. Dawn talked us through the events of Holy Week and the children shared what they had learnt about Easter and their thoughts. We considered why Easter is important to Christians and how Christians remember certain events in their worship, such as taking Holy Communion to remember the Last Supper. We ended our visit to Holy Cross with an Easter Egg hunt which went down a treat!
