This week the Hedgehogs went on an adventure, their first school trip!

We travelled by coach to Everdon Outdoor Learning Centre and Everdon Stubbs to learn more about the woodland and the big and small creatures that live there. Bug viewers were used to take a closer look at the small insects, which were a contrast to the large badger sets we found in the woods.

We completed some amazing activities in the woods including the brewing of tree potions created with troll snot, unicorn blood and pixie surprise. We also made tree faces, bug hotels and went bug hunting. However, we are sure what you have probably heard most about is the coach trip there and back! The children found the coach trip very exciting and were very pleased to hear this is how we would travel between the two sites. 

A lovely day was had by all!
