Forest School - Crowns and Coins for the King
The classes have enjoyed the opportunity to create natural crowns, coronation coins, sweet smelling ointment to anoint our new King and even a natural sceptre.
Of course there has been all the usual fun and games too - especially the popular activity of 'fairy fire' lighting! Seed bombs have been made and thrown in the hope we see some more wildflowers in our site.
We have observed mining bees burrowing into the bare ground around the fire circle and learnt that they close up the entrance hole if they feel threatened, or they think it's going to rain!
Year 2 could make their own disgusting sandwich after listening to the story of the same name and Reception enjoyed lots of bubble fun.
