Forest School - Feeding ourselves and the birds!
We celebrated Shrove Tuesday in Forest School this week by heating up some pancakes to enjoy with sugar and/or jam. We decided that all food tastes better when you're eating it outside with friends - yum!!
Year 3 have also had the opportunity to make bird feeders by reusing plastic milk bottles. We will fill the ones made for our Forest School site with seed and look forward to seeing which birds come to visit us. Some children were very imaginative by creating an RSPB bird hospital for our cuddly birds. As always it is a pleasure to observe the children working collaboratively to achieve a desired outcome. The skills of communication, compromise and conflict resolution are often very evident.
