Forest School - Nature Paint Brushes and Pinch Pots
After our favourite summer game of hide and seek amongst the very tall plants, we decided to break our 'no pick' rule for the day and use some of the flowers in our craft activities! We experimented with using different grasses, leaves and flowers to paint with and also made some clay pinch pots to display our finds in.
Of course, there was lots of bug hunting going on and we reminded ourselves about how careful we have to be when we handle them and to not keep them in the pot too long!
We were amazed to see that the puddle has completely dried up and that the ground is very deeply cracked. Our digging resulted in a very happy Mrs Copland and Mrs Ronnie as we unearthed some of the equipment that had been dropped in the puddle a long time ago. Not quite the treasure we were hoping for but welcome nonetheless!
