Reading Buddies
Today we had our paired reading event as part of a week of celebrating reading. The older children in school were paired to read with a buddy from another year group, to enjoy stories together.
World Book Day is on Thursday 2nd March which is a worldwide event to celebrate reading, authors and illustrators. Research shows that reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child’s future success, and therefore we are celebrating reading through a whole week of events!
