Year 2 have started a new unit in D&T called "Remarkable Recipes" which is all about cooking and nutrition. This week we have been testing out lots of different kitchen tools and selecting which is most suited for each job. We selected the best tools for mashing, cutting, spreading, grating, and spreading. We talked about how to use each tool safely and for it's intended purpose. Look out for our culinary delights later in the term!
