Year 3 - Colour by senses
Year 3 have been developing their cricket skills, specifically their throwing, catching and batting. The children have just finished their poetry unit and have completed their independent write. They wrote a poem about what colours would be like for someone who is blind – using senses other than sight.
The mass and capacity maths unit is now complete and the class have moved onto fractions (adding, subtracting and problem solving). In art and DT all of the children have now shown their creative abilities designing and making their clay pinch pots. In science the children have investigated the darkness of shadows made from materials of different levels of transparency.
