Welcome back Year 4! We have had a busy first week, starting our history unit on Ancient Sumer and learning about the features of newspaper articles in English.

We enjoyed learning how to sketch people in our first art lesson of the year too. One highlight so far has to have been how the children threw themselves (literally at times) into our new dance topic based on Spies and Secret Agents.

We have spent a lot of time working on our PSHE topic: Let the love in – ask your children if they can remember the 5 love languages and reflect on how you as a family have shown love to each other this week.
