It was been a busy week in Woodpeckers Class. We had lots of fun in PSHE celebrating how we each are “1 in a million (or 8.1 billion)” and measuring each other to discover we are truly unique and that we should celebrate our individuality and personal strengths. In art our work on Statues, Statuettes and Figurines continued with sketching ancient examples to tie in with our history learning on Ancient Civilisations. We are thoroughly enjoying our class reader this term, The Land of Roar by Jenny McLachlan, and used our playdoh to create characters and settings inspired by the story.
