We did it! The first Year 5 Go Kart Club managed to strip a whole Go-Kart to the bare chassis and rebuild it again in a matter of weeks.

Mrs Towers was so impressed with how the children worked in each session; they were proactive, enthusiastic and didn't give up when things were a little tricky.  This week their learning and efforts were rewarded with the first ever Monksmoor Park track day!

The children and their parents took the newly built kart to Stretton Circuit to test it out.  Each child had the opportunity to take the kart round the track several times in a private session.  There were lots of nerves, even more excitement and for some, the discovery of a passion for racing!
