This week Year 4 have been learning more about the features of journalistic writing. They took it in turns to be interviewers and eye-witnesses as part of our English unit on 'The Creature'. In computing the children were challenged to come up with a “code snippet” to program Logo to draw a digit using the commands we had learnt so far. In maths we are starting to use standard written methods to multiply two digit numbers. In history we found out where and when the civilisation of Ancient Sumer was established and why the River Tigris and Euphrates were so important to them.
