Early Help

To fulfil our vision or ‘Nurturing all to flourish and aspire’ we do much more than teaching children the requirements of the National Curriculum.  We help families at the very first sign of worry or difficulty and use our wide network of professionals to obtain specialist advice and support.  This ranges from parenting courses and healthy child weight management to debt and housing support.

We work closely with our locality coordinator to keep up to date with what support is available and maintain positive relationships with local professionals such as school nurses, police and fire services and safeguarding teams.

Early Intervention service

"The Early Intervention service offers support for children, young people and their families and aim to prevent the need for longer term and more costly and complex intervention. Within the team we have specialisms such as prevention and education around knife crime and exploitation and we support families affected by domestic abuse."  Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner.

For more information on the service please see the document at the bottom of this page.
