We have been busy making London taxis in Year 1.  We followed a design brief when making the taxis and chose the tools and materials we would like to use.  We also explored different types of wheels and axles before choosing the one we would like for our designs.  Once they were built we tried pushing them down a ramp to see how well the wheels and axles worked.

We have also enjoyed playing in our role play area where we have bought bus tickets to go on a tour around London.  Our tour guides told us lots of facts about the different landmarks.

In PE we have been enjoying playing target games.  We have explored using an under and over arm throw and decided which would be the best to use when aiming for different targets.
