Year 3 - Forest School Bright Sparks
There was lots of excitement for Year 3 this week in Forest School when we practised starting a fire! Pupils had the opportunity to use a flint and steel to create a spark. It took a lot of perseverance and practice to get the knack of how to do it but the joy on the children's faces when they mastered it was priceless. Some children then moved on to trying to ignite a cotton wool ball from a spark which was met with great excitement when they were successful!
