Forest School foraging
Year 4 have been experimenting with using foraged materials from Forest School to mark make. They crushed the berries, leaves, mud, flowers etc. they selected and decided whether or not they should add water before using them to draw with. It was a fun collaborative activity as the children shared ideas of which materials were most effective. Some children requested to use the Dragon's sneezes which is definitely one of their favourite activities! It's always lovely to see how they encourage each other to keep trying as it can take a lot of perseverance to light a small fire of cotton wool. The heavy rain this week has meant that our puddle has reappeared much to everyone's delight! Pupils were delighted to show us how they could 'walk on water'!
