Year 4 have been working hard, perfecting their grammar this week in order to improve their writing.  They have loved learning all about the pitch of sound, even if the straw experiment didn't quite work out as planned.

One of their favourite lessons is history, as they are learning all about the Saxons and Vikings.  Last week  made Long Ships and this week we learnt about what was discovered at Sutton Hoo.

The class really love swimming too and all the teachers are full of praise for them.

There is still plenty to learn about before the end of term and Mrs Towers has promised we will try Saxon food and nettle tea!
