This week Woodpeckers have continued to develop their understanding of mountains in their topic lesson looking at the different mountain ranges across the globe.  We used our prior learning to identify the types of mountains found in these ranges and recorded our findings systematically using tables. 

The Amazing Group A enjoyed their Forest School session building dens, designing point scoring games using acorns and creating wonderful sculptures combining twigs, nuts and clay.  Brilliant Group B in the meantime explored designing their own switches within our electricity unit. 

In PE we continue to work on our essential skills that will help us in other areas of sport, such as balance, jumping, running and stamina.
