Spring Term 2 (24-25)
Classroom
These last few weeks have seen hedgehogs learn lots of new skills, mixing pancakes and racing with them to practising in hockey so we can now control a ball really well! Our traditional tales learning has seen great writing and storytelling and we loved sharing this with you.
We have been learning about Spring as the weather has improved and have been eagerly spotting signs of Spring in our environment.
As a class we have been focussing on looking after our environment and have been litter picking across the site and enjoying the responsibility of caring for our indoor environment with special badges.
Our Easter activities and learning why Christians put a cross in an Easter Garden has generated great learning and recall although I think the donkeys were the most popular!
It has been lovely to see how far the children have come and we look forward to next term.
Forest School
In Forest School, Reception have been noticing signs of Spring, including buds on trees, flowers and bees. They have taken part in some Easter themed activities such as using natural materials to make Easter eggs and especially enjoyed an Easter egg hunt! The children also made Forest Faces using clay and natural resources as well as magic potions.
